This is turning out to be an somewhat interesting month. I actually pieced five baby quilts. Two for my new great grands, Darius Jr. and Jordan. Three for community service. I thought I was on a roll.(lol) I decided I wanted to free motion quilt them, so I disconnected my HQ16 from the PCQ. I was really in control.(oh yeah) Put my practice piece on. HQ is moving along, off track. Wow stitches looking great. Okay take the practice piece off. Look on the back , oh no loops.Well , that's not a problem , I'm not afraid of tension adjusting anymore. But maybe since I'm so on schedule I'll put off adjusting the tension until tomorrow.
Well to make a long story short , It really wasn't the tension at all. It was the frame that was set up for the PCQ. S0---back to the drawing board. I guess I'll have to take these quilts to the Baby(my Janome). I 've really gotten spoiled by my HQ16. No pinning or pushing. Well these quilts have to be finished by the end of the month, so I can move on to my Christmas quilts.
I have a class next month with Juanita Yeager. (yeah!)
